Referring Process

Once manuscript is submitted to GIJISE, the managing editors will assign the paper to corresponding Area Editor. The Area Editor will manage the review/revision process. They will be responsible to look for the reviewers and maintaining a control in the revision process.

Manuscripts are typically reviewed within 3-4 months by two or three experts. Unusually long or difficult manuscripts may take longer period. The time required will also be greater in cases where it is difficult to find suitably qualified referees. If the expert's reports contradict one another, the responsible Area Editor may obtain additional reviews to make a decision. Revised manuscripts are usually reviewed by the referees of the original submission, but the responsible Area Editor may seek input from additional reviewers.

Responsible Area Editor will report result of the review process of each assigned paper to the Managing Editor. Final decision (on acceptance or rejection of the submitted paper) - based on the Managing Editor's remarks - will be taken by Editor in Chief. Final decision on acceptance will be communicated to the author by the Managing Editors

  • Only original papers are accepted for review with the understanding that the same work has not and will not be submitted for consideration elsewhere, and that its submission for publication has been approved by all of the authors, the institution where the work was performed, and the appropriate funding agencies. It is further understood that any person cited as a source of personal communications has approved such citation, written authorization may be required at the Editor-in-chief's discretion. Articles and any other material published in the Gurukulam International Journal of Innovations in Science and Engineering (GIJISE) represent the opinions of the author(s) and should not be construed to reflect the opinions of the editors or the publisher.

Author Guidelines

Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.

Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.
Online Submission
Authors should submit their manuscripts online. Electronic submission substantially reduces the editorial processing and reviewing times and shortens overall publication times.
